Annie's Fund, dedicated in fond memory of Annie
Annie's surgery, a Triple Pelvic Osteotomy, or TPO, is one of three common, and costly surgeries for Hip Dysplasia. Golden Retrievers are frequently crippled by this condition which causes rapid deterioration of the hip joint in extreme cases or, more commonly, arthritis in later life. Annie succumbed to cancer in March of 2009 but, due to LIGRR’s generosity, she lived a full, happy and comfortable life, attaining a CD title in Obedience as well as becoming a Canine Good Citizen and a Therapy dog. In loving memory of Annie, LIGRR has established the Annie Fund. The purpose of the fund is to provide for costly hip surgeries to allow otherwise healthy Goldens to live long, pain-free lives. Please help make this fund successful with donations in memory of Annie. As usual, any donations made to LIGRR are tax deductable. Mail Checks to: Or donate online by clicking the link below. |
